The Town of Chili - located in Monroe County - is a suburb of Rochester - New York . Chili is a community that is contrasted by a suburban character primarily in the geographic area north of Black Creek and a rural agricultural character south of Black Creek. Chili has a variety of recreational areas including eight town parks, one county park, two museums, a disc golf course, a public nature area, two semi-private golf courses, and two boat launches - one on the Genesee River and one on Black Creek. Each year the town's annual summer festival, the "Chil-E Fest," draws thousands of people to amusement rides, entertainment, food vendors, and a fabulous fireworks display.

Chili Nature Trail:
The Nature Trail is located off Chili Avenue , behind Chili Heights Apartment Complex.

This 36 acre park is made up of various trails, an open field, scenic pond and two overlook areas.

Senior Center:
The Senior Center is located in the old library building at 3235 Chili Avenue - across from Chili – Paul Plaza - next to the firehouse.
They are open Monday thru Friday from 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.

 

Chili Cobblestone School Museum:
The Chili District No. 4 School was built in 1848 and operated as such until 1952. On September 19, 19 65 , it was dedicated as a museum. Established by legislation passed February 22, 1822 the Township of Chili is believed to have been named after the South American Republic of Chile. It was formerly part of the Town of Riga and earlier known as East Pulteney. Old deeds called it " Black Creek Township."

 

Victorian Doll Museum:
The museum is located at 4332 Buffalo Road, North Chili. A virtual wonderland, exhibiting over3,000 identified dolls from the mid -1800s to the present. Doll hospital and extensive doll gift shop on premises. 585-247-0130

 

Tinseltown Movie Theater:

Churchville Golf Course:
This club offers one regulation eighteen hole course and one regulation nine hole course. This course is located at 960 Kendall Road. 585-293-0680

 

Chili Country Club:
Chili Country Club is a semi-private, par 72 challenging layout where striped fairways are the norm. A driving range and two putting greens are available for players to sharpen their skills. 585-889-9325
